First-Hand Experience at Tin Lizzy’s

ATLANTA -- Tin Lizzy’s Cantina in Buckhead has great customer service and an interesting environment. The moment you enter the restaurant you feel the lively environment of the customers and the staff.

I ordered the Southern Comfort Taco on my first visit to Tin Lizzy’s Cantina. I chose this taco because the waitress said it was awarded the best taco in 2012, and was one of her personal favorites. The Southern Comfort taco includes grilled chicken, goat cheese, grilled onions, fried pickles and barbecue sauce.

It was recommended to try one of the margaritas as well. Tin Lizzy’s has a reputation of having delicious specialty margaritas. I ordered the Pomegranate Cilantro margarita that consists of Don Julio Silver, pomegranate liqueur, sour mix, fresh cilantro and a lime wedge.

The service was fast, and I noticed a night crowd that picks up around 6:30 p.m. There was a 15 minute wait when I came at 6:30 p.m.

The restaurant has live music Thursday through Saturday. The live band sets the lively atmosphere throughout the restaurant, and is a nice touch to the urban surroundings of Buckhead. However, if you are not a fan of a loud environment, I would recommend going to dinner Sunday through Wednesday.

The Tin Lizzy’s Cantina in Buckhead, was the first one built, and it is well managed. The staff handles a busy restaurant with calmness, and as a customer you see their enjoyment of a full restaurant.
